The Imaging core facility offers competences and equipments in histology and performs routine work like sectioning of tissues or classical stains for researchers. It also assists in the setting up and optimizing of histological approaches specific for each scientific project.

Furthermore, our MicroBrightfield-Nikon systems - which includes the Neurolucida and Stereo Investigator softwares - enables the complex morphometrical quantification of microscopic structures.

Nikon Inverted Microscope Eclipse Ti-U

The Eclipse Ti-U uses Nikon’s world-famous CFI60 optical system and a wide choice of objectives for bright field, dark field, fluorescence, phase contrast, DIC and modulation contrast microscopy techniques.



MicroBrightField Neurolucida system

The most advanced system for neuron tracing and reconstruction, quantitative neuron analysis, and 3D brain mapping.

Neurolucida is a microscopy system specifically designed for performing accurate neuron reconstructions directly from histological specimens. It is capable of over 500 quantitative morphometric analyses, including:

The number of dendrites, axons, nodes, synapses, and spines

The length, width, and volume of dendrites and axons

The area and volume of somas

The complexity and extension of neurons  



MicroBrightField Stereo Investigator system

A Stereo Investigator system provides you with accurate, unbiased estimates of the number, length, area, and volume of cells or biological structures in a tissue specimen. It is a key research tool that has led to advances in numerous areas of neuroscience including neurodegenerative diseases, neuropathy, memory, and behavior, as well as other research fields including pulmonary research, spinal cord research, and toxicology.



Fluoreszcencia Spektroszkópia Laboratórium

Széles biológiai és biomedikális területen alkalmazható fluoreszcenciás anyagok teljes körű spektrofluorometriás jellemzése.

Lumineszcens kvantum dot-ok (QD), Szén-nanocsövek (Single Wall Carbon Nanotube, SWCN), Lanthanida komplexek, Fehérjék spektroszkópiai jellemzése.

Összetett minták numerikus színképi analízise, adatbányászat. Komplex minták gyors sorozatelemzéséhez mérési módszer kidolgozása MISF alapokon (Matrix Isopotential Synchronous Fluorimetry).

Spektrális mérések anyagvizsgálathoz, fényforrások bevizsgálásához, összehasonlító elemzéséhez a 200 – 1600 nm tartományon.
